J. Cole receives his own day in hometown of Fayetteville

J. Cole announces Dreamville Weekend

J. Cole rolled out a list of events for his inaugural Dreamville weekend in Fayetteville, and among his school visits and parties is one pretty huge distinction.

On Thursday, the Terry Sanford High School alum will visit E.E. Smith High School, then his alma mater later in the day where March 1 will be officially declared "J. Cole Day" by city officials.

Cole's aim for the weekend is to give back to the Fayetteville community, with hopes of reaching and inspiring kids, as well as recognizing leaders in the community. Proceeds from each ticket sale during Dreamville weekend events will be donated to the Cumberland Community Foundation.
