Angel Roman Accused Of Biting Kitten's Lips Off

A man allegedly told police that he bit the lips off a kitten because he was depressed after his girlfriend left him.
The Daytona Beach News Journal reported that Angel Roman is also accused of strangling another kitten to [rip].
Roman was left alone with the felines while their owners were out of town, according to a Flagler County Sheriff's Office report sent to The Huffington Post.
Roman told an acquaintance "he bit the lips off one of the kittens and burnt its ear and whiskers with a lighter," according to the report.
The owners told police that Roman spent a lot of time with the kittens but they didn't realize he was hurting them, the report said.
Roman was charged with animal cruelty.
A search of the Flagler County Sheriff's Office arrest records shows that Roman has been apprehended for a laundry list of offenses over the last three years, including domestic violence, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
He is currently being held in jail on $100,000 bail.
