An Ohio woman has been banned from McDonald's after throwing a temper tantrum over a sandwich she was served at the fast food joint.
Amy Corey admits she fired a chicken sandwich through the drive-thru window at a Chillicothe McDonald's last week, but says the employee she was aiming at got her order wrong.
"It had a dab of mayonnaise on it, rotten lettuce," Corey told WBNS-TV.
According to the station, Corey, who had ordered the sandwich for her fiancé, had requested grilled chicken, but the sandwich she got was fried. It was also missing bacon and cheese.
"I wasn't feeling the love at all," she said of the June 21 visit.
Corey says she asked the employee to remake her order, but the worker was rude and the second sandwich she received was also made wrong, and included the same piece of fried chicken.
"I threw the sandwich back at her through the drive-thru window and I demanded a refund," Corey told WBNS-TV. "She would never have gotten the sandwich thrown at her, if she would have just been polite about the matter."
Employees contacted the police but did not press charges, according to the station.
The restaurant did ban Corey from all Chillicothe-area McDonald's — and Corey says she's outraged.
"I threw a sandwich!" she said. "And it didn't even hit the worker. Why would I be banned from McDonald's? That's just wrong."
Corey says she has since taken her business to other fast food restaurants in Chillicothe.
