The murder took place last Wednesday evening when Braylee Rae Henry,16, decided she wanted a soda. She left her home and went to the Tee Pee convenience store, where Miles Bench,21, was the only attendant on duty. When she didn’t return, her father filed her and her car as missing.
According to Daily Mail, when investigators arrived at the convenience store they found a pool of blood and blood smears on the floor and no Bench.
Police went to Bench’s grand parent’s house where his grandfather told investigators that the man had just been to pick up clothing.
Shortly after Henry’s body was found in a pasture owned by Bench’s grand parents, killed by blunt force trauma to the head.
Bench was later tracked to Henry’s car via the car’s GPS.
Bench is being charged with first degree murder and has been denied bail.
No motive has been established.
