17-year-old mother of one, Aubrey Nothum, was killed after a joy-riding 13-year-old girl crashed into her car last Friday morning.According to KMOV.com, the 13-year-old was accompanied by her 11-year-old brother after they stole their parents’ car to go out driving.
She lost control of her vehicle when coming to the intersection of Highway 47 and Highway 100, at which she struck Nothum’s car.
Nothum was rushed to the hospital, where she unfortunately passed away from her injuries. Both the little girl and her brother did not suffer any serious injuries.
The young girl who caused the incident is facing charges of stealing and second-degree murder for her foolish and irresponsible actions. She has been turned over to juvenile authorities.
