A teacher in Scarsborogh, England burned a student’s scalp in an effort to remove her hair extensions.13 year old Courtney Blades-Wilkinson claims a teacher removed her and a friend from class when they noticed that the two girls hair style was not in protocol with the school’s dress code.
According to Daily Mail, the teacher marched the two down to a science lab where they used a piece of heated lab equipment in order to melt the glue that bound the hair to the students’ head.
Although the girls complained about the pain, the teacher carelessly continued. When the heat didn’t work the teacher demanded the students cut each others extensions out with scissors.
Wilkinson’s mother, Susan, has since rejected the Graham School’s apology and demanded that disciplinary action be taken against the teacher.
The Graham School has launched an investigation to determine what exactly happened.
