Boy Discovers Rock Of WHALE VOMIT On Beach Worth $60,000

Charlie Naysmith whale vomit lots of money $60,000
Charles Naysmith of southern England, found a chunk of petrified ambergris worth up to $60,000 while walking along the beach.

Ambergris is a bile like substance created in whale’s digestive tracts to aide in the digestion of hard animal parts such as squid beaks.

The reason it is so expensive is because it has an entirely unique smell that perfumers will pay top dollar for, which has created an ambergris black market.

According to NBC News, some perfumers have moved away from using ambergris due to the whale’s status as an endangered species, and to avoid being involved with the black market.

Eight-year-old Charles is planning to open an animal shelter if and when the chunk is sold.
