SOHH is currently in Atlanta for the BET Hip Hop Awards festivities in Atlanta and got an up-close look at just how much of a "Wild Boy" Bad Boy's Machine Gun Kelly is at Friday's The Source Digital 30 party.
SOHH correspondent Amber McKynzie gives a full rundown of MGK's Friday night antics.
"After chopping it up with V-103's Greg Street and his Bad Boy boss MGK popped up at Atlanta's Microsoft store for The Source's Digital 30 reception and in true style he left his wild boy out. He flipped off an older lady while repeating his vulgar lyrics in her face then jumped on the store's tables full of computers and started A-Town stomping and throwing Source signs across the room. Pulling his shirt up and hoping from table to table, MGK was forced to stop rapping when the store shut down the sound systems. Throwing the mic on the table, the wild boy jumped off the table and police said party over." (SOHH)
MGK also hopped on his Twitter page to proudly announce Bad Boy's presence in Atlanta.
"Almost died at rehearsal for the BET hip hop awards. We out here tho.," he tweeted September 28th.
"Bad Boy takeover in Atl. We got rid of Diddy and brought out Puff Daddy for the night http://instagr.am/p/QJEp1cCtfW/" (Machine Gun Kelly's Twitter)
Over the summer, Kelly talked about hip-hop helping him avoid jail.
Thank God Machine Gun Kelly chose rap. If it weren't for the beats and rhymes, the Cleveland, Ohio, spitter wouldn't have linked with Diddy, but could've become a bad boy of a different kind. "If I wasn't an artist, I'll probably be in jail," MGK told MTV. "Probably. I make a lot of dumb decisions in life." Luckily, MGK spends most of his time spitting bars than behind them, and that's why he was chosen to represent the MTV Jams' Fab 5 class of 2012. (MTV)
Back in summer 2011, the rapper spent time in handcuffs after leading a local flash mob.
Cleveland rapper "Machine Gun Kelly" was arrested Saturday after inciting a flash mob at South Park Mall, Strongsville police said. Officers responded to the mall after being tipped off about a possible flash mob taking place at 5 p.m. Although he was asked by the SPD to refrain from standing on a table, Baker did it anyway, sending his die-hard fans into a frenzy. A YouTubevideo shows the rapper jumping up on a table with a megaphone in the food court, but just as soon as he was up, police officers yanked him down. (WJW-TV)
