Dog Discovered After Going Weeks Without EATING After Getting Coffee Can Trapped Around Its Neck

This is one of the many reasons why we should be more conscientious about littering.

A good Samaritan in Dallas, TX called animal services after he found Shepherd mix, “Joshua”, protecting his emaciated companion, “Java”, who had a coffee can stuck around her neck.

According to Daily Mail, Java was taken into care at MetroPaws, where employees succeeded in saving her life. Later on in the day, a report was issued claiming that Java was eating and “holding her own”.

Joshua is currently being held at a Dallas Animal Services facility, where employees described him to be a sweet, friendly canine and continue to search for possible foster homes.

Java is expected to make a full recovery.
