Drunk Lawyer Decides To Enter Ground Floor Apartment Through GARBAGE CHUTE – Nearly Gets Arm SEVERED

Maggie Baumer nearly lost arm entering ground floor apartment through garbage chute
A Tufts graduate learned why drunk ideas never turn out the way they’re supposed to.

Maggie Baumer, a Manhattan attorney working for Goldstein and Lee, ended her night of inebriated revelry stuck inside a trash compactor and her arm smashed by a piston.

The NY Post reported that Baumer had returned home at around 6am without her keys (as she had given them to a friend for safe keeping earlier in the night). The bacchanal then reasoned that she could go through the trash compactor and into “the cellar and enter the building’s garden, where she would open a window in her own apartment and climb inside.”

The compactor’s motion sensor then turned on the machine and nearly severed Baumer’s arm.

Firefighter’s responded to the scene and gave Baumer morphine for her pain. She was then rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where she underwent surgery.
