Man’s best friend is not always boy’s best friend, sadly.
A twelve-year-old Salinas, California boy is facing felony animal cruelty charges after hanging his twelve pound terrier from a door handle by its dog collar, leading to death.
The boy told police “I was mad at the dog, so I killed it.”
He was taken to Monterey County Juvenile Hall.
