Sister Puts Her 12-Year-Old Brother Up ‘FOR SALE’ On Craigslist – ‘Real Little Boy For $1,200′

A sister’s Craigslist prank has raised quite a ruckus in Alabama.

Police in Florence, Alabama sprang into action when they were notified that an ad listing a young boy for sale for $1,200 accompanied by a picture of the boy had appeared on Craigslist.

According to AL.com, police appealed to the public for help in identifying the boy and began to receive calls identifying the boy.

The boy’s sister quickly admitted that the ad was a prank and promised not to do it again.

Police may have overreacted, however, since many observers indicated that they knew the ad was a prank because the going rate for young boys in Alabama is considerably lower than $1,200.
