Son Reunited With Mother Five Years After Father Stole Child – Abanonded 2,000 MILES FROM HOME

A mother’s wish came true after years of despair.

In San Diego, California, 7-year-old Keoni Masumoto and his mother, Leliani Masumoto, were reunited for the first time in five years after Keoni’s father, Julio Rocha, kidnapped him, fled to Mexico City, and left him there.

According to CBS Los Angeles, a young woman doing online research for a school project in Mexico saw a poster for Keoni on the website for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and reached out to them with information about Keoni.

Keoni was abandoned by his father in Mexico City and taken in by his grandparents who cared for him the past five years.

The grandparents voluntarily gave Keoni back to his mother and he will be attending a local school within the next few weeks.
