A surprisingly meticulous gang is finally stopped after stealing thousands for drugs.

Four young Sarasota, FL women – Samantha Smith, 19, Brandy Kinney, 19, Alyssa Conrad, 23, and Caroline Catarzi, 20 – comprised a theft ring responsible for robbing over 20 homes and hundreds of thousands of dollars in two weeks to fuel their addiction to Oxycontin.

They each had a role: ring leader, look-out, burglar, and get-away driver.

Together they stole jewelry, cash, noncollectable items, and electronics to be pawned for drug money.

One of the women, Brandy Kinney, even had surveillance knowledge from her previous employment at EMG Alarm.

But last Thursday, after robbing Susan Furrow of almost $13,000, the gang was stopped in their silver Kia, which was filled with stolen goods.

“Was it random? I have no idea. Were they casing the joint, so they knew when I’d be gone? I don’t know,” Furrow told the Herald-Tribune, saying, “It’s like being violated, not only your personal safety, but things you collected for years, and their sentimental value.”

The women, who have records of previous arrests for car theft and drug possession, face charges of burglary, dealing stolen property, and providing false identification
