Lesbian Woman Savagely Beat By Lover’s Brother During Thanksgiving – Did Not Approve Of Gay Romance

A savage assault on Thanksgiving Day sent a young woman to the hospital.

Mallory Owens, 23, of Alabama was treated for injuries following an attack by her girlfriend’s brother, Travis Hawkins Jr., 18, who has been arrested for second degree assault.

Owens’ family maintains that Hawkins’ assault was motivated by the young man’s disapproval of her sexual orientation, Huffington Post reported.

A Facebook user posted photos of a belabored Owens, who received multiple skull fractures and crushed bones; requiring metal plates to be put under her eyes. The user further noted that Hawkins’ family observed the beating and did nothing.
