Mother Raised Her Daughter As A BOY For TWO YEARS – Father Had NO IDEA

A suspicious peek revealed the true gender of a toddler to her duped family.

For two years a woman Goiania, Brazil had been knowingly raising her daughter as a boy – a scheme she had begun at the child’s birth when she altered the birth certificate and lied to authorities at the registrar.

The child’s own father, grandparents, and extended family and friends all believed she was a boy, as the mother had dressed her and cut her hair, bought her toys and decorated her room as so.

This week, however, an aunt who had been doubtful of the child’s true sex offered to hold “him” at a family party so that she could take a look under the diaper. It was confirmed that the baby was, indeed, a girl.

When confronted, the mother explained she had been a victim of abuse as a child and feared a daughter faced the same risk, but a boy was assured more safety, reported Daily Mail.

While the child has been placed in foster care as a judge assesses the sitation, the family is left stunned.

Said the girl’s grandmother, “It was a huge shock for everyone. Now I have to get used to the fact I don’t have a grandson any more, I have a granddaughter.”
