Target, Walmart to Blame For Low Record Sales, Says Nicki Minaj

The follow-up to Pink Friday didn’t move on Black Friday.

The Re-Up, a supplement to Minaj’s latest album, has failed to perform as expected since its release earlier this week because “Target and Walmart [are] not selling” it.

Digital Spy quotes Minaj, “It’s hard to get the album because the stores basically said that the last few re-releases they had put out did not do well and they didn’t want to take a chance”.

Target is the biggest mover of Nicki Minaj albums.

The Re-Up was released on November 19th and features the singles ‘Freedom’ and ‘The Boys’ featuring Cassie
