A teen’s anonymity is unveiled as he is found fit to stand trial.
Late Friday evening in the midst of a heated dispute Joseph M. Addis, 16, of Jasper, GA was arrested after stabbing and killing his stepfather Christopher Allen, 36, with a samurai sword the family kept in the house as part of an antique collection.
After his appearance in court on Monday, however, Addis was appointed an attorney as it was ruled he would be tried as an adult, reported the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
His information and case now released to the public, Addis awaits his upcoming trial for alleged murder without bail.
