This guy deserves to win the “Husband of the Year”award.
Larry Swilling, 77, of South Carolina is on a mission to help find his ailing wife, Jimmy Sue, a kidney by wearing a sign around his neck and walking up and down local highways and streets.
According to Nine MSN, Swilling’s wife, Jimmy Sue, was born with only one kidney that is now beginning to fail.
“[Swilling] initially thought he could donate one of his kidneys, but soon found out his blood type did not match his wife’s.”
“[He] refused to give up, and decided to reach out to the public for help – first hitting the streets in his hometown and surroundings towns in September.”
So far, Swilling has received hundreds of calls from people wanting to help and is hoping to soon find a match for his wife.
