College Rape Victim Could Be EXPELLED For ‘INTIMIDATION’ After Speaking Out Against Her Attacker

Landen Gambill colelge rape victim UNC could be expelled for intimidating her attacker

This just doesn’t seem right.
Landen Gambill, a sophomore at the University of South Carolina, is facing expulsion after a student-run Honor Court claimed that she created an “intimidating environment” for her ex-boyfriend, who allegedly raped her.

After Gambill spoke out about the harrowing incident (without divulging her attacker’s name), her ex-boyfriend, with the help of the Assistant Dean, filed a formal complaint against her.
According to WRAL, Gambill had informed the University of her attack and was immediately directed towards the Honor Court, whose members only “asked victim-blaming questions.”
Gambill filed a federal complaint to the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights. They’re still reviewing the case.
This is just one out of many incidents where a University has attempted to silence a sexual assault case. One would think they’d be doing everything they could to help the victim.
