While Kordell Stewart may have felt his marriage to Porsha Williams was “irretrievably broken” she was completely clueless to the depth of their problems.
“She was 100 percent completely blindsided,” a source told Us Weekly about him filing for divorce. “Friends are trying to contact her but she’s not picking up her phone or returning texts.”
Williams came out of hiding momentarily Tuesday several hours after the news hit, tweeting, “Thank you for your prayers.”
She also posted a spiritual message on Instagram, “Difficult moments, seek God. Quiet moments, worship God. Painful moments, trust God. Every moment, thank God.”
After less than two years of marriage Stewart filed for divorce March 22. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star was under the impression that they were working things out when the divorce news was revealed.
“Mrs. Stewart had held off on filing for divorce herself and remained committed to the marriage because Mr. Stewart promised to work on the marriage with her,” her rep said.
