26 years later she found the man who killed her father — even though police could not.
36- year old Joselyn Martinez of the Bronx, New York, used background check internet sites to track down the man who allegedly shot her father in cold blood 26 years ago in front of their Inwood restaurant; last week the man, Justo Santos, was taken into custody by police in Miami, Florida, where he had been living.
According to The New York Daily News, Joselyn’s father, Jose Martinez, had thrown some young men out of his restaurant for saying lewd things to his wife, Idalia; Santos, who was one of the men, pulled out a gun and shot and killed the 41-year old Martinez.
Martinez was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia, where he died.
Joselyn Santos will see the man who thought he got brought back to New York City.
