A little girl dies when a 911 operator cannot figure out who to call for help.
It took 15 minutes for emergency services to reach 7-year old Kaitlynn Breann Garcia after she was pulled from the bottom of a swimming pool when a 911 operator repeatedly called the wrong numbers for emergency response and could not figure out where the Eucha State Park pool was.
It took him more than four minutes to reach the first responders who were only 5 miles away.
According to Oklahoma’s Own, the Sheriff’s department has asked the District Attorney to look into the matter.
