A burglar broke into a home, but got more than he expected — including a smashed up face.When Michael Maxwell of Palm Bay, Florida stormed a home with several other men, the residents of the home managed to fight off the intrusion by hitting, tasing and kicking the intruders — and in the process giving Maxwell a gruesome mug shot.
According to Click Orlando, police were called to the house on Monterey Drive, arrested Maxwell and a 17-year old companion and took them to the Brevard County Jail Complex where Maxwell is being held on $51,000 bail.
Police are still investigating whether the people in the house knew Maxwell or his companions.
Maxwell has been charged with one count of home invasion robbery with a firearm or deadly weapon and four counts of battery.
