Doctors testifying at the trial described the victims’ injuries as “by far the worst” they had ever seen.Mitchell Young, 21, of Michigan, is on trial for helping Tucker Cipriano kill his father, Robert, then bludgeon his mother Rose and his brother Salvatore in a savage attack with a baseball bat; Cipriano’s 8-year old sister watched the attack.
Under the influence of synthetic marijuana, the two young men allegedly broke into the home to steal from Cipriano’s family; when the father discovered them they began the attack which killed the older man and left the mother and brother with life-threatening injuries.
According to The Daily Mail, the brother is still in the hospital more than a year later.
Tucker faces charges of first-degree premeditated murder, felony murder, two counts of assault with intent to murder and armed robbery.
Cipriano pleaded guilty to felony murder and will spend his life in jail.
