A teacher at a prestigious high school is arrested.
33 year old Brian Kearins, music instructor at Herbert H Lehman High School in the Bronx, was arrested and charged with having sex with an under-aged student.
According to The New York Daily News, the illegal relationship was discovered by the victims’ sister, who found a string of sexually explicit emails and texts from the teacher and told her mother.
Apparently aware that he was being investigated, he recently told the girl to erase any messages from him.
He has been arrested and the Department of Education is seeking to fire him.
