Mother SUES Monster Over Son’s Death After He Drank Energy Drink Twice Per Day For THREE YEARS

A California mother, Paula Morris, whose 19-year old son, Alex Morris, died from cardiac arrhythmia has sued Monster Beverage Corp., claiming that their energy drink caused her son’s death.

The boy consumed two cans of the drink daily.

According to The Huffington Post, the company is also being sued by the parents of 14-year-old Anais Fournier, of Maryland, drank two 24-ounce cans of the drink and died; the company claims that there is no proof of “caffeine toxicity” and that the child had pre-existing conditions.

The Food and Drug Administration is looking into the deaths that have been attributed to energy drinks
