A joyride by two children ends in tragedy.An 8-year old boy took his 6-year old sister, Aaliyah Felder, for a late night ride in the family car and crashed into a power pole on the way home, killing the little girl.
The mother had bathed them and put them to bed; a half an hour later she checked on them and found them missing.
According to NewsNet 5, the police were notified and went searching for the pair, thinking they might have been kidnapped; but when they found the crashed car the children were alone, in pajamas, and the girl was seriously injured.
She died the next day in the hospital; the boy had a injured ankle but is expected to recover.
