Man Arrested After Boasting To Undercover Cop About Being On WANTED LIST

William Mavrides bragged to undercover copA man’s inflated ego sends him to jail.


Weymouth man William Mavrides, 25, was bragging to an, unbeknownst to him, undercover cop that he was a wanted criminal and would most likely be incarcerated soon; he was promptly arrested.

He was at the Quincy Center MBTA Station when the conversation began.

According to CBS Boston, “Mavrides, who in fact had outstanding warrants for Witness Intimidation, Larceny and Assault & Battery, was arrested and taken to jail.”

His charges include witness intimidation, larceny, and two counts of assault and battery.
