A father ignores his responsibilities.
When police responded to a call about a seven-year old girl locked inside a parked car, they discovered that her father, 38-year old Elliut Gonzalez, had left her there for an hour to go into the Diamond Club strip bar.
According to The Smoking Gun, the police report stated Gonzalez “intentionally left his daughter inside the vehicle, with the windows rolled up, doors locked and vehicle turned off for nearly an hour;” the officer also noted that he smelled of alcohol.
Gonzalez told police that he did not want to go home told police he did not want to go home after a fight with his girlfriend.
He was arrested and charged with felony child neglect.
