A woman calls the police before she kills her mother.30-year old Mirna Bolanos of Hopatcong, New Jersey was arrested and charged with killing her mother, 56-year old Ligia Bolanos, by beating her over the head with a baseball bat.
Police arrived at the scene and discovered the daughter sitting on the steps of the house the two women shared; the mother’s body was inside, near the stairs.
The New Jersey Herald reports that the police had been called to the home by the daughter herself, who told police her mother was harassing her, just before the phone went dead.
The Costa Rican native has been charged with first degree murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.
