It sounds like she stabbed the wrong person.45-year old Tammi Jo Pirkle of Winder Georgia, entered her bedroom, found a woman in bed with her boyfriend and stabbed the woman — while the boyfriend cowered under the bed.
The unidentified woman, who sustained a 3-inch deep wound which just missed her kidney, stated Pirkle ”came in and found me on top of her boyfriend straddling him….[He] jumped on the floor and hid under the bed.”
Pirkle originally told police that the woman had fallen on glass, but kept changing her story.
The Huffington Post reports that she would “change her demeanor and play like she was too intoxicated to answer the question,” according to The Sheriff’s office.
Pirkle has been charged with aggravated assault.
