A man in Gothenburg, Sweden was arrested after entering a Hemköp supermarket, racing to the produce aisle and urinating on the fruit and vegetables.
Onlookers were shocked and callesd the police immediately.
According to The Local, an officer with the Gothenburg police commented: ”It’s the first time I’ve ever heard of such an incident. …
Apparently the fruit was worth 700 kronor [$110] which has now gone down the drain.”
Police decided to wait to deal with the man until he had sobered up a bit, but he will be charged with vandalism.
