A mother preys on her children’s friends.34-year old Amanda Crews Gaskins from Helena, Alabama, a married mother of four, has turned herself in to authorities who contend that she has had a month long sexual relationship with a child between the ages of 12 and 16, and it is believed that the victim may be a friend of one of her children.
The victim’s parents originally reported the possibility of abuse to the police.
An investigation is continuing and authorities believe there may have been other victims.
According to The Daily Mail, a Detective involved in the investigation commented: “I can’t even explain what goes on in anyone’s mind who does these types of things. …It’s scary the way they think.”
She faces a charge of second degree sodomy.
