It is not a good idea to offer an undercover cop money to murder someone.33-year old Nicollette Beard of College Point, Texas, brought her 7-year old son to the meeting in a parking lot during which she offered a supposed hitman — who turned out to be an undercover cop — $4,000 to kill the boy’s father with whom she was involved in a custody battle.
At least she had a friend take the child away into a store before she gave the policeman an $800 down payment.
She also indicated that if the man’s wife got hurt or killed that would be alright with her, too.
According to ABC NEWS, the police, believing the offer was genuine, took the man and his wife into protective custody , then arrested Beard and charged her with solicitation of capital murder.
This will probably not help her custody fight.
