An unidentified 4-year old Philadelphia boy brought eight bags of crack cocaine and $173 to his pre-school class at the Thomas Mifflin Elementary School and showed it off to his classmates.
One of the children informed the teacher who called the police; they in turn brought in drug sniffing dogs to make sure there were no other drugs in the classroom.
Police are investigating the situation, trying to figure out where the money came from; they are questioning the boy’s uncle.
According to CBS Local, the communications Director for the school addressed the issue: “The child is a victim of a situation, wherever that situation is occurring either in the home or somewhere else. We are providing that child with the support that we can.”
