Father Allowed Truck To Fall Onto His SON To Collect Life Insurance – ‘Left Him Dying’

Karl Karlsen man let truck fall on son for life insurance

A man allegedly knocked a truck off of a jack onto his son and left him to die for a payout on a large insurance policy.

A judge has ruled that seriously incriminating audio tapes are admissible as evidence in the second degree murder trial of Karl Karlsen of Seneca County, New York, in the death of his 23-year old son Levi in 2008.

The tapes were made when Karlsen was arrested and also when he spoke to his ex-wife who was secretly recording him; although he changes his story numerous times, he admits in both instances to having been there and to having left his son to die.

According to Syracuse.com, Karlsen’s son had taken out a $707,000 life insurance policy and left a handwritten note in which he left everything to his father.

The ex-wife claimed she had always had suspicions about Levi’s death and then learned that her husband had taken out an insurance policy for $1,2000,000 on her life.
