A grisly crime was, in part, a family affair.


19-year old Daisy Guttierez of Chicago was arrested and charged with first degree murder in the death of Jose Reyes, her ex-boyfriend’s brother, whom she lured to his death by taking off her clothes in the bedroom of her own home where he new boyfriend was waiting to kill and decapitate him.

Her father, 56-year old Salvador Guttierrez has also been charged with helping conceal the murder and it is believed that he may have helped dismember the body before digging a hole in the backyard to bury the remains.

According to The Chicago Tribune, Daisy Guttierrez allegedly told her family to get out of the house on the day of the murder, calling her father after Reyes death to tell him she had “fixed the problem.”

The boyfriend who allegedly helped Guttierrez murder Reyes has not been charged.
