A soccer club may have to postpone its future events because of a frightening incident.Melissa Jaramillo of Manassas, Virginia was shot in the leg as she watched her 11-year old son play soccer at the George Hellwig Memorial Park.
My FoxDC reports that she was sitting with her husband and daughter when she felt a sharp pain, and her husband, a medical technician, thought at first she was hit with a pellet from a BB gun.
Later, at the hospital, the doctor told her it was probably a .22 caliber bullet.
Police have no leads about the shooting and the soccer club has sent out a letter of warning.
