Word on the street is Zab Judah knocked down Floyd.

These type of rumors start up from time to time, but because Mayweather doesn’t allow anyone to film while he is sparring no one ever know the truth.

So either Mayweather has been beating him down, Judah caught him slipping or combination of both.

Jeff Mayweather revealed details of the sparring session between the two fighters, and said Floyd put a one-sided beating on Judah. Jeff later apologized for making those comments, stating in a video that he didn’t know his statements would be printed.

A rumor began to surface on Tuesday night, that Judah dropped Mayweather during that sparring session and pointing to that incident as the reason behind Floyd’s ‘no mercy’ approach as they sparred.

Ellerbe says the knockdown never happened.

“False. No [that didn’t happen], Zab is in camp. Zab is a tremendous fighter. He’s been helping with the preparation along with several other sparring partners. They are really pushing Floyd, but nothing like that ever happened,” Ellerbe told Sky Sports.
