A North Texas man has been arrested after authorities said he allegedly killed his girlfriend, then posted a photo of her body on Facebook.
Kenneth Alan Amyx, 45, is facing a murder charge in connection with the stabbing death of Jennifer Spears.
Investigators said Amyx took a photo of himself and one of the victim and posted them on her Facebook page.
Spears, 43, was found dead Sunday after police were called to a disturbance at an apartment in the 2300 block of Kathryn Lane in Plano. Police said she had been stabbed.
Amyx was also in the apartment suffering from knife wounds, which police believe were self-inflicted. He was arrested after being treated at a local hospital.
Amyx also faces charges of indecency with a child in Dallas County and continuous sex abuse of a child under 14 in Rockwall County.
He is currently in the Collin County Jail with a bond set at $600,000.
