Has Steve Kerr coached his last NBA game?
At least two prominent media outlets are floating that possibility, as a debilitating illness related to the back surgery he had two years ago is keeping Kerr out for rest of the Warriors’ first-round series against the Blazers and perhaps the remainder of the postseason.
After speaking with several of Kerr’s “confidants” around the league, The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports Kerr’s symptoms, which include headaches and nausea, have become intolerable.
"I don’t know if he can do this very much longer,” an unidentified NBA source close to Kerr said. “He hasn’t enjoyed this one bit. Even if we haven’t talked in a bit, I can see the pain on his face.”
