Are the words 32-year-old Reginald Jones reportedly told the judge in court at his arraignment last Tuesday.
On that fateful night, Reginald’s wife, Lakeisha Jones, reportedly caught him cheating with a co-worker. But rather than getting emotionally distraught over his infidelity, she hatched a plan that would make him regret ever disrespecting their relationship.
According to the police report, Lakeisha confided in Reginald that she was willing to wipe the slate clean if he agreed to let her have sex with someone else. Knowing Reginald’s alpha mentality would never allow him to be on the receiving end of such cuckoldry, she was not surprised when he countered her proposal. Instead, he suggested a threesome with a girl of her choosing.
And that is what she did, but there was a twist…
Lakeisha’s choice was Francis Andrews, someone she grew up with and who has quite the reputation in the Atlanta club scene. Reginald did not know the woman, but he agreed and they invited Andrews over. Unbeknownst to Reginald, Andrews is a transgender woman.
According to Andrews, who witnessed the murder, it wasn’t until after they had sexual relations that he realized she had “more” in common with him than he expected. At that point, in a fit of rage, Reginald strangled his wife to death.
Police were called to the scene and they took Reginald into custody. He is charged with first degree murder and will stand trial next month.
