This week in battle rap has been interesting on this Valentine’s week. A lot of Love and hate being thrown especially at one of the upcoming stars, Loso. The Bullpen All-star has been the talk of the culture as everybody debates whether Loso should take a pg on URL. Loso has been on a great streak lately with wins over Showoff, J murda and a debatable vs B dot. Loso has been saying that he might not need to “Prove Himself” on URL but a lot of URL’s best came from the Proving Grounds on URL and it is seen as protocol to take at least one Pg battle. John John Da Don, PG alumnus and Bullpen Owner, talks about this situation in a blog he released this week. Another Blog that was interesting was a 15mofe interview with Hollow the Don, who talked about His rematch battle with Arsonal on Smack vol 2 on March 31^st. He talked about their first match on fight klub and their conflict over time limits. It was a real insightful interview and I can’t wait for their battle on March 31^st.

On Instagram This week some of battle rap’s best made they presence felt in some major ways. DNA paid homage to Will Smith this week with two freestyles that were fire. The one that got everybody talking was his “Step Dad” freestyle inspired by Will Smith hit “Just the two of us”. It was about his bond with his step son and it touched a lot of people emotional cord. Jaz the rapper showed out on a Young Buck classic for her “Shorty wanna ride” freestyle and killed it on the J-kwon “Hood Hop” freestyle.

Battles that were released this week came from all over the place, Battle rap defiantly showed love. RBE released Daddy Mason vs Bear from lhs4 card. Bullpen dropped a battle from two of the most viewed battlers on their platform, Bonus vs Cannon the Beast. KOTD dropped two battles this week, Flow Columbo vs Peppe and Sun Tsu vs Steve Staples. Body Bag Battle League released a fire battle from their Death is Urned Card, Greywolf vs Ortiz Davinci. Iron Mouth Battle League Bo the Great vs Phokused battlecame out a couple days ago. And Qleen Paper vs Pretty Hippie dropped on Therap BattleLeague. SYIGU Battle League released an anticipated match between Mal Casanova vs Starr White.

The Battle of the week came from URL Traffic 3, JC vs T Top . The two Mc’s came with intense rounds thru this whole battle. But what made news was T Top having a Kennecka Jenkins Bar in his first round. T Top after the battle dropped, issued an apology to her family and to the fans and it took a man to say he was wrong. So T top salute to you. URL also came out with an all-star cypher featuring Charlie Clips and Mickey Factz.
